Nicolas Fernandez of Moratín
Works: "The feast of bulls in Madrid" written in quintillas. Devoted an ode to the pindárica bullfighter Pedro Romero. On the subject bullfighting also wrote, in prose, the brochure historic Letter on the origin and progress of the feasts of bulls in Spain (1777) and "the ships of cortés destroyed". Composed another poem teaching of pitch burlesque, the Art of the whores or Art of putear, which circulated manuscript, and was first published in 1898, more than 100 years after his death.
Cultivated, among other genres lyric roots music, the epigram. It is very cited the entitled 'know without studying`
Juan Melendez Valdés
Works: In 1780 gets the prize for poetry of the Royal Spanish Academy with their work "Batilo". In 1783 writes "The girlfriends anacreónticas" and "kissing of love" later the famous printer Joaquín Ibarra published in 1785 the first volume of his poems with great success, carried out several editions. Speeches forensic, that circulated in a handwritten to be published during the triennium Liberal.
In addition to those already described, other works of the author are "Poems" (1785), "A Llaguno" (1794), "On the fanaticism" (1795), "Alarm" (1808), "Ode to Joseph Bonaparte" (1810-1811), "Foreword of Nimes" (1815) and "Speeches Forensic" (1821).
